Sylvester Stallone is back as Rambo in a bloody way with the simply titled JOHN RAMBO. I'm liking this 3.5 min clip of the new movie, slated to open next year, because it doesn't hold back on the punches. The footage is something that Sly put together to show distributors and folks at Cannes. There's a lot of blood in this clip. There's a decapitation and some poor dude gets the close range business end of a big-ass machine gun. Let's just say there's some blood.

Unlike the new Die Hard sequel which is aiming for a teenie-bopper audience with a PG-13 rating, Stallone looks to be keeping to what a good action film should be. An R-rating. Rambo is an angry killing machine and he doesn't look like old age has slowed him down too much.

I saw this on another forum, having not seen the first 3 I wasn't overly bothered, then I saw that everyone was saying the trailer looks spanking.

So I watched it, my god does it indeed look spanking

It does indeed look top notch and the superlatives from Cannes seem to be doing it justice and its not just another Armageddon, although the pr0n version Arma-geddin-it-on is quite entertaining.

Can I be so bold as to say Rambo: First Blood ie the first one is great, great viewing, a story about one Vietnam vet who was promised medals and a parade when he returned and all he got was conflict.
